Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant is a senior professional who will be a technical presales solutioner working closely with Security Sales Specialists to represent the Security portfolio to CGI’s Enterprise and Mid-Market customers. This is a customer-facing solution development role that will require you to interface effectively with other CGI stakeholders to qualify, demo, scope and develop solutions to address customer business needs, while mitigating risk and generating profitable revenue. A strong problem solver and exceptional communicator, the selected candidate will play a key team role in defining, evolving, and positioning compelling managed security services, approaches and solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Partner with sales specialists on opportunity pursuit strategy, deal qualification and proposal development
•Lead technical solution discovery, recommendations, and development
•Develop BOM, SOW and RFP responses
•Perform product demonstrations
•Maintain current working knowledge of security technology, trends and incidents
•Collaborate with peers and Product Management for ongoing enhancement of tools, processes, and service features

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Minimum of ten years of related experience with at least six years of cybersecurity presales experience in a managed services environment
•Strong experience with a variety of cybersecurity systems/products and a background integrating operations
•Experience, understanding and a working knowledge of a variety of security related standards, guidelines and best practices.
•Experience working with proposals and RFP submissions, including estimating effort, cost.
•Intermediate level understanding of IT systems and networking concepts as a foundation for the development of technical solutions.
•Ability to discover customer requirements through a consultative process.
•Knowledge of varied security controls that span: Network, Endpoint, Data, Identities and Cloud
•Navigates ambiguity, clearly communicates risks, anticipates issues, seeks clarification and sets clear expectations with stakeholders.
•Demonstrated experience creating and delivering presentations and/or discussing technical proposals with clients, inspiring confidence and forming trusted relationships
•Demonstrated ability for analytical thinking and self-directed research in cybersecurity topics
•Ability to speak, write and communicate clearly and effectively in English and French
•Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance of Level 1 (Enhanced Reliability Clearance - ERC)

Desirable:
•Industry certifications in cyber security are an asset, such as ISACA CISA/CISM/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP, CSA CCSK; and/or vendor certifications from leading technology OEMs.
•Experience working with varied IT delivery and support models including Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).
•Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance of Level II (Secret)
