Position Description:

Could you serve as a strong Service Management Specialist to oversee the delivery of application development and services? Join our team! CGI Federal is seeking a Service Management Specialist to work with technical delivery teams to provide service management expertise to our team, who delivers mission critical services to the Federal government. The position will be a combination of customer site, CGI office and work from home and is based in the DC Metro Area.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The service management specialist must develop service management strategies, working closely with client and internal teams identify staff, tools, and specialized support requirements for effective and efficient operational and support processes. Reports to the Program Director, but must be able to work independently.
• Responsible for influencing, leading and motivating staff, to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems, to identify problem areas and opportunities and make recommendations and to think strategically.
• Maintain and contribute to the program knowledgebase proactively.
• Drives continuous improvement in the program environment including monitoring, control and stability. Assists with process design for new service or technology intake.
• Implements process improvements across the software development lifecycle.
• Directing and manage organizational change management and transformational initiatives.
• Ensure and continuously improve the quality of service metric reporting
• Responsible for collaborating with client, stakeholders, application development team, and infrastructure teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Must have professional experience managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of and ability to create processes and procedures that follow generally accepted methodologies.
• The ability to work with a diverse group of people under difficult circumstances and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to conduct data analysis and statistical analysis and develop informative data visualization.
• Experience working on programs/projects using SAS, SAP or any other statistical analysis suite of tools.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project)
• Must have PMP and AGILE cerifications.

Desired qualifications
•Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement principles as they apply to Medicare Part A, B, D, and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
• Additional desired qualifications include Medicaid experience, CMS investigative systems experience; OnePI, UCM, FPS; and Experience in a wide range of data/statistical analysis/tools.
