CGI is hiring a Senior Programmer to support a large program within the Federal Government. Sus futuros deberes y responsabilidades:

Qualified candidates will be responsible for systems programming functions dealing with the overall operating system or complex subsystems of the operating system. The candidate will:
- Develop specifications for systems programming activities.
- Develop and modifies software programs
- Develop logic for and encodes, tests, modifies and debugs software packages
- Install and maintain software products on the system Analyzes and fixes problems associated with the software packages and forwards them to appropriate vendors for problem resolution
- Monitor systems and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate technical leadership and will develop practical and workable solutions to clients’ technical and business problems. Candidates will need to analyze requirements and potential solutions for technical and economic feasibility. Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to work on multiple phases of complex projects independently and must possess the ability to coordinate activities with superiors and client personnel to resolve technical and/or business issues and ensures the successful delivery of the project requirements. Senior programmer candidates may be required to act as a technical supervisor.

Calificaciones requeridas para tener éxito en este rol:

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science preferred) and 3 to 5 years of work experience as a software developer
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and/or Portal development experience
• Some experience working with Agile methodologies and ALM tools like JIRA
• C#
• HTML/CSS
