The CGI Payments program is a global $22M USD a year program which includes the following CGI payments IP: All Payments, BESS, CLS Manager, and CAS. The Payments Team is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and capable client services leader to be responsible for the successful delivery of ongoing services for clients that are using CGI’s payments solutions.
This person will be a key member of the Payments Program Leadership Team. He/She is responsible for leading the client service teams within CGI’s Payments business area. He/She will manage a team of Members providing CGI’s payments clients globally with operations and help desk support. The person will be instrumental in working with the Payments Program Lead and regional Business Units in establishing a support organization for the payments business including on premise and cloud based deployments of the Payments solutions. This individual will work closely with client implementation, business development, and consulting teams. He/She will be responsible in supporting the Payments Business in delivering the services and corresponding revenues associated with all client service related projects and activities. The person’s performance will also be measured by client satisfaction scores. This person will be a business-oriented and client-focused leader who is passionate about this subject area. The Payments Client Service Director is a key member of the Leadership team in defining and executing how we bring our offering to market, with a focus on building the business across CGI’s global footprint. It includes defining the business use from design through follow-on support, including go-to-market strategies through supporting individual deals as they progress from opportunity to reality. This role is expected to be highly client and market facing including dealing with senior client personnel.
• Deliver superior client service for new and existing clients
• Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings from a Service Delivery view • Lead a team of professionals – both direct reports and via global delivery • Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams • Contribute to business strategy and budget planning • Engage early in the business development cycle with senior level customer representatives to influence strategy and increase the chance of both qualifying and winning. • Position CGI and create the opportunity to differentiate • Understand customer business issues and align CGI propositions to create new business opportunity. • Deliver both the TCV wins and in-year revenue objectives set each year. • Work closely with the Payments leadership team to communicate new business activity, pipelines and forecasts.
• Self-sufficient and results driven, excited by the prospect of playing an important role in growing the business
• Proven track-record of achieving new business objectives and delivering profitable business outcomes • Good leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching. • Strong presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills. • Payments sector insight and experience, including involvement in industry trade committees and working groups). • 8+ years in transaction banking and wholesale payments experience • Business acumen with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L’s, and complex pricing models • Client engagement management and relationship building • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to write proposals and deliver executive presentations • Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills • Must live in proximity to a CGI office Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following: Business Development Communication Skills – oral, writing and presentation DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED • Motivated self-starter that is able to work independently, in teams and projects with limited supervision • Excellent communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Client Management (5 years), Payments SME (10 years) and Banking Products (10 years) Minimum Education Preferred: Bachelors Degree #LI-TM2
