CGI Federal has an opening for a Program Control/Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst to provide program control, financial, and business operations support to the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) program at our operations headquarters in Crystal City, VA. The PCA will work collaboratively with both Program Management and Corporate Operations (Earned Value Management (EVM) and Finance) teams and will be responsible for program control functions and customer deliverables to include budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Major Areas of Responsibility
• Track Measure and Report Key Project Performance Indicators such as Schedule Performance Index, Cost Performance Index and other program health metrics by utilizing JIRA • Develop and perform various financial analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and cost estimation duties for the Program Management Office (PMO) • Support for the monthly forecasting of Estimate to Complete (ETC)/Estimate at Complete (EAC) accordingly. • Support and maintain program performance required for project tractability and audit control. • Support the standard program status analysis.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Knowledge and Skill Sets
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred in finance, accounting, management information systems, or business related discipline.) • 1-3 years of related experience with emphasis in providing financial tracking and support • Willingness to learn program control and willingness to put in extra effort to complete the tasks on time • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success • Excellent problem solving skills and Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation) • Have an understanding of financial management • Must be well versed in MS tools (Word, PowerPoint etc.) and possess Excel skills including working knowledge of VLOOKUPS and pivot tables Desired Knowledge and Skill Sets • Understanding of various contract types is a plus
