CGI is seeking a Front-End JAVA Application Developer. We are working on existing Colorado Health Benefits Exchange (COHBE engagement where CGI builds and deploys new version of the enterprise system application software. This role is for the project to migrate the existing enterprise system from CGI’s Cloud environment (in Phoenix Data Center) to AWS. There are a number of modernizations of the enterprise and how it is hosted/operates to be worked on during the migration effort to AWS. This career opportunity can also be located in Wausau, WI.
Os teus futuros deveres e responsabilidades:
• Ability to work in an AGILE environment and work well with others. Some work may be also be performed using other methodologies such as waterfall and spiral. • Create design documents that satisfy business requirements, following adopted methodology that leads to efficient, easy to maintain, and reliable systems • Analyze business rules, processes, and systems to recommend process and systems improvements • Design and perform unit tests to confirm functionality meets business requirements • Maintain code to enhance functionality and improve efficiency, as well as replace malfunctioning or obsolete code • Participate in migration meetings and resolve migration issues as necessary • Ensure all code is version controlled according to standards and best practices
Qualificações requeridas para ser bem sucedido neste role:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience required along with a bachelor’s degree. Twelve years of experience can be substituted for the bachelor’s degree. Only 1 year of experience are needed with a relevant Master’s degree. Successful candidates will possess:
