We are looking to hire a Production Support Tech Lead & MQ Admin to work with our dynamic team in Lafayette, Louisiana!
Join this new Support Project as an MQ Middleware Administrator and Team Lead. With your expertise, you will lead a team of remote engineers that support BPM/Pega/MQ/Fusion/Kafka. You will drive/deliver client requirements in an Agile framework. You will have the opportunity to show/grow with technology in a client-facing role.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Client Interface: Communicating with customer stake holders to include leadership, support teams, and system administrators. Client Interface: Consult and receive support requirements. Client Interface: Consult and configure/customize MQ/Fusion/Kafka to meet their requirements. Client Interface: Be the technical interface between the remote team and the client. TECHNICAL TEAM LEAD Technical Team Lead: Mentor remote team of engineers for 24x7 support Technical Team Lead: Be a technical resource for the engineers on the team. Technical Team Lead: Be the onsite coordinator for the remote teams TECHNICAL • Experienced in upgrading WebSphere MQ IIB on different platforms by applying Fix Packs and installed Support Packs. • Strong experience in supporting enterprise business critical messaging through a high availability and workload sharing in cluster environment. • Experienced in Installation and configuration of MQ Client/Server in different environments. • Configured monitored and maintained MQ objects such as queue managers, queues, channels, process, name list, service on distributed platforms. • Hands on experience in WMQ Distributed Queuing, enabling triggering on trigger queues. (Transmission Queues Application Queues). • Worked on creating Brokers, Configuration Manger, Execution groups. • Worked with MQSI Broker Commands for creating, starting stopping the Brokers • Having Good Knowledge on MQSI Commands • Keep production Integration Services system up and running to meet IS SLAs • Fix production problems in a safe and timely manner to minimize the duration of unscheduled outages • Provide first level support where necessary. This also includes providing on-call services and involves production deployment activities • Conduct root-cause analysis for major production problems • Lead DR drills • Change enabler/implementer • Should have knowledge on uDeploy and Jenkins
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
At least 12 years of IT Support experience At least 6 years of working experience MQ/Kafka Strong Websphere MQ Administration/Troubleshooting skills. (Mandatory) Strong Websphere Message Broker Administration/Troubleshooting skills (Mandatory) Strong system administration skills (Mandatory) WAS,BPM an AWS Willingness to learn new technologies Good Team player Positive attitude Prior experience in support space (Preferred) Skill Set Years of Experience Proficiency Level Information Technology 12 years High MQ/Fusion/Kafka 6 years High
