Position Description:

CGI Federal is searching for an experienced Database Analyst to support the ASC-IMMOS contract in Fairfax, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Individual should have experience with manipulation of data and data structures using SQL within a relational database environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: analysis and implementation of table structure changes, data analysis and validation, development and execution of scripts to facilitate input and output of data, planning and support for database changes in software releases, and unstructured resolution of helpdesk tickets for data-related issues in an operations focused environment.
Individual should have at least intermediate SQL skills and experience supporting databases in a Windows environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Ability to generate SQL statements required to accurately manage complex data and structures within the database
• Ability to identify and define business and other system data requirements into system change requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve anomalies in data and report output in an unstructured environment.
• Ability to generate comprehensive system documentation within Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Effective interpersonal communication (written and oral).
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
• Be Drug Free.
• U.S. Citizenship Required.

Desired Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT related field is strongly desired.
• Security + or other IAT level II certification desired
• Active Secret security clearance preferred
