The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a trusted technologist who is a strong contributor to team goals and technical vision. In this role, you will help us achieve ambitious automated testing targets which ensure proper interoperability between application and platform services.

Os teus futuros deveres e responsabilidades:

• Work closely with your software development team to understand product function and testing gaps

• Drive proposals to implement new automated testing for front-end (JS/HTML/CSS) and back-end (nodeJS/PHP) systems

• Implementation of approved proposals for automated testing frameworks

• Perform functional QA where automated testing gaps exist to better understand how products function and how to improve test coverage

• Performs job responsibilities and satisfies project or work assignment expectations; contributing to client satisfaction and loyalty Proactively manages client expectations to build a strong partnership Delivers high quality services with a focus on continuous improvement Responds to client needs by proposing solutions that leverage service offerings

• Maintains excellent client relationships and effectively collaborates with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders across projects and work assignments

Qualificações requeridas para ser bem sucedido neste role:

• Design, Development and Execution of Product test automation suites for functional, regression and load testing with a focus on automation and no manual testing.

• 4+ years experience shipping software in Development, Test or related capacity

• 2+ years testing experience, including automation, of Android and/or iOS applications.

• 4+ years experience with object oriented coding and development, in languages like Java, C#

• Hands-on experience with automated test frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCTest, or equivalents.

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Willingness to learn new technologies & quality engineering practices

• Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills

• Experience would be preferable for tools or technologies such as any of these: Git, REST APIs

• Experience working with continuous integration (CI) tools like TeamCity or Jenkins"

• Configure automation of test cases and results used in ready-to-roll process

• Collaborate with product team and stakeholders daily via Scrum/Kanban activities

• Experience with alternatives to Microsoft stack: e.g, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Redis, NodeJs, AngularJs, Linux, Mac, iOS, Xamarin

•Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner

•Effectively collaborate with peer group (Scrum team)

•Effectively communicate with our Business Partners: end-users, user groups and product owners

•Demonstrate personal initiative to meet personal and professional goal
