CGI is looking for a talented, driven Sr. API Developer who has a passion for solving problems to join our development team for a major bank’s customer facing application and a 3rd party vendor application.

• Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications. • Provide technical solutions to problems encountered in the team. • Provide innovative ideas and solutions • Lead the offshore team and ensure quality deliverables and provide expertise as and when needed.
• 10+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
• 4+ years of experience in Spring Boot. • 4+ years’ experience working as a lead and driving high quality outcomes. • Working experience with Open Shift Container Platform, Docker and/or Oracle DB highly desired • Knowledge of Microservices highly desired • Basic understanding of Linux network and server configurations. • Working knowledge in DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy and Git. • An inherent ability to solve problems and provide solutions. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
