Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Senior ETL Developer is responsible for interpreting business requirements through the use of artifacts such as Technical Requirements Document (TRD), logical and physical data models and source to target mappings (STM). Leverage these artifacts to ensure proper designs and functional code can be developed. This includes working collaboratively with other key stakeholders and in some cases overseeing the work of others as needed to ensure business objectives are achieved.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years’ experience with, and detailed knowledge of, relational database, Informatica ETL, OLTP PL/SQL development, UNIX Scripting

} 5 years’ experience with Oracle 10g/11g; Informatica Power Center 8, 9, 10 and PowerExchange (CDC)

} SQL/SQL*Plus including the ability to reverse engineer existing code

} Experienced in defining and/or maintaining best practice database standards

} Experience with data warehouse design and implementation (Kimball and Inmon methodologies, ODS, star schemas, semantic layer design, etc.)

} Highly skilled in creating detailed Technical Requirements and Design documents

} Skilled in Unix operating environments and Unix Scripting

} Experienced in scheduling programming software, e.g. Tidal

} Able to provide development guidance and mentoring. Able to lead developers, & peers individually or in small teams.

} MS Windows, Microsoft Office including MS Word and MS Excel

} Should be conversant with technology trends

} Excellent communication skills. Communications are polished, concise, proactive, timely, and appropriate for the setting/forum.

} Ability to work independently

} Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others

} Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills

} Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices such as Waterfall and Agile

} Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

} Highly skilled in ETL and database design, monitoring and tuning, profiling and performance optimization and options to improve load and extract performance in OLTP, Data Warehousing and BI environments

} Capable of producing Data Models

} Ability to handle high pressure, high stress, high visibility situations



Minimum Education Required- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
