Position Description:

This is an exciting time to become a member of CGI's Victoria team, to provide leading information technology services to our clients.

We are seeking a full-time team member to perform the role of Tririga Application Specialist. This successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and enhancement of our client’s Tririga Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide continuous Tririga support, responsible for planning and coordinating tasks/efforts, and liaising between other team members, the client, and other CGI teams. The Tririga Application Specialist is expected to have deep knowledge of the IBM Tririga application.

Other responsibilities/requirements include:

• Report the status of team activities to CGI and Client Management
• Document and report issues
• Present overviews, implementation activities, and project vision to senior leaders
• Review reporting, security, conversion, and integration designs. Support the development of designs in these areas.
• Coordinate and resolve design issues as they arise
• Coordinate and plan testing efforts through system test, integrated system test, and user acceptance test
• Review test scenarios and scripts
• Manage issues/defects that result from each testing effort
• Work with the client, subcontractors, and other CGI teams to develop an approach to manage the client’s integrated workplace management system, increasing the operational, financial, and environmental performance of the instance
• Assist in the planning and coordination of other testing efforts such as Penetration Testing, Security testing, and Performance Testing
• Assist the Client and support team in obtaining and loading configuration data from end-users
• Assist the Client and support team in obtaining and loading conversion data from end-users
• Assist the Change Management team with end-user communications and business process change efforts
• Assist in coordinating deployment activities, such as user setup, migrations, and environment usage with other project teams
• Become familiar with all Statements of Work (Client/CGI and CGI/subcontractor) in order to manage scope between CGI, the client, and subcontractor

Project responsibilities:

• Install and configure IBM Tririga platform and other software, as appropriate, in the creation and management of application environments
• Perform administration tasks in the support of the environments
• Support the project team by troubleshooting issues, configuration changes and providing information
• Monitor and tune the installations, as appropriate
• Support the project team in all testing activities – especially related to performance and security/vulnerability
• Perform any required data migration and configuration management tasks
• Assist in planning activities, such as capacity planning, disaster recovery planning

Deliverables Management:

• Author and review design documents and other project deliverables
• Comply with project documentation standards

Task Management:

• Understand work plan activities and provide accurate status on work completion
• Estimate task time requirements and plan accordingly
• Understand and work within task scope
• Prioritize tasks
• Identify and communicate issues in a timely manner

Your future duties and responsibilities:

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and configuring Tririga.
• Experience tuning software configuration to improve performance and experience working with Network and OS teams on performance improvements.
• Troubleshooting experience – individual must be able to quickly diagnose issues reported by production and non-production users and provide resolution
• Experience with scripting for automated installation/maintenance of applications
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal direction
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player
• Excellent prioritization skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Presentation skills

Desirable:

• Experience with web services setup and administration is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Technology (alternatively 5-7 years of relevant experience)
