CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a CDM Tools Engineer, Jr. for CDM DEFEND.

Fonctions et responsabilités :

As a junior integration engineer you will:

- Serve as a junior subject matter expert, possessing knowledge of computer science and/or engineering discipline.
- Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on complex problems that need knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
- Participate as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, installation, documentation, and presentation phases.
- Apply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions.
- Provide applications development and computer programming.
- (May) provide database maintenance and configuration management support.
- Investigate and debug software errors, troubleshoot application issues
- Develop and build code applications or modules with various programming languages
- Write technical documents
- Formulates/defines system scope and objectives

Qualités requises pour réussir dans ce rôle :

- Bachelor degree and 2-5 years experience.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to analyze, dissect and resolve system and/or tool issues/problems.
- A great attitude and hunger for learning
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity

Desired Qualifications:
- Java or C++ programming experience is preferred
- IT Certification such as Sec+, Net+, A+ or higher
