CGI has an immediate need for a Microsoft Power Platform Architect to join our Emerging Technology Practice team in one of our selected CGI locations. This role requires a strong foundation in Microsoft products and web development experience.
As a Power Platform Architect, you will lead medium to large scale projects, working with a diverse set of individual specialists to deliver our client’s objectives and vision. You will oversee the solution design and implementation, working with the delivery team and other stakeholders, both internal and with our clients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in Power Platform, as well as any of Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft 365, or Azure. You have experience in large scale cloud solutions with complicated architectures, integrations, and data management. You have deep experience in Agile Delivery and can pivot when necessary to accommodate unforeseen change. You can support the Product Owner, Developer, and Test Automation equally, and are experienced interacting with executive stakeholders.

Tus futuras funciones y responsabilidades:

• Design and document solutions in Power Platform, and present them to clients and other stakeholders
• Lead a team to build, support, and administer model-driven apps, canvas apps and support existing portal apps (focus on administration for portals).
• Cover Power Automate flows and analyze data using Power BI visualization and dashboards.
• Create application enhancements, custom user experiences, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations.
• If you have a passion for designing, developing, securing, and extending Microsoft Power Platform solutions, this engagement could be for you. Applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services including administration and a basic understanding of DevOps practices for Microsoft Power Platform.
• Background with development experience on Power BI.
• Familiarity with Azure offerings
• Deliverables will include:
• Creating technical designs and Power Apps
• Configuring Dataverse, Power Apps, and business process automation
• Extending the platform and the user experience
• Support, perform trainings and enhance different solutions
• Collaborate: Guide project managers, project teams and technical leads to estimate implementation efforts, build solutions, manage change, meet challenges, and deliver results as a team.
• Recommend: Best Practices, Approach, Ancillary Technologies, solutions, and improvements to ensure the evolution of the information system according to client needs
• Ensure: standards and best practices are documented and applied by all CGI teams
• Oversee: testing, deployment, and maintenance strategies
• Oversee: knowledge transfer to designated permanent resources in accordance with the client’s knowledge transfer plan requirements

Calificaciones requeridas para tener éxito en este rol:

• 5+ year of experience in development and configuration on Microsoft platform including Power Apps, SharePoint, Office 365, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence for collaboration
• Familiarity with Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Microsoft Power Platform Architect Certification with Azure or Dynamics Certifications as a nice to have.

Desired:
• Familiarity with other low code development platforms
• Experience with other programming languages (such as Java or .NET)

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licensure and certification. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range in British Columbia is $75,000 - $150,000.
