CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II to provide support in the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Division of DOJ in Washington DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Manage complex logistics and projects with quick turn-around deadlines
• Organize and manage internal working groups and assist with facilitation of such groups.
• Assist with listening sessions with experts in violence against women related fields including facilitation and conducting a thematic analysis of listening session transcripts.
• Manage OVW’s summer intern program by developing materials to recruit interns, vetting intern applications, and assisting in interviewing interns and assigning them to units.
• Assist OVW with webinars, including developing and uploading PowerPoint presentations, organizing the Adobe platform, recording the sessions, and posting the final webinar.
• Provide project management on long-term/large projects identified by Legal Counsel Division.
• Support the Legal Counsel Division, as needed.
• Communicate on behalf of the office and within the office (including written and oral communication)
• Process responses to simple FOIA requests without supervision, including searching, compiling, and transmitting responsive materials.
• Assist FOIA attorney with processing complex FOIA requests.
• Assist with gathering, evaluating, and compiling a variety of data, including editing and revising charts, for Congressional reports, budget submissions, and other projects.
• Research legal and policy issues with short turn-around times, including coordinating with resource centers, DOJ library, OVW technical assistance providers, and researchers.
• Gather information for and draft fact sheets, blog posts, reports, responses to Congressional and Departmental requests, etc.
• Respond to inquiries from the public and communicate with outside officials on behalf of the office, as needed.
• Review for clarity and copy-edit a variety of documents.
• Manage the development of a series of grant program fact sheets.
• Assist in reviewing deliverables (e.g., guidebooks, assessment tools) developed by technical assistance providers.
• Assist with preparing (i.e., writing and proofreading) reports to Congress.
• Assist with preparing briefing materials for OVW and DOJ leadership.
• Analyze and track federal legislation regarding violence against women.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations on behalf of Division staff.
• Assist with preparation of documents and publications, including editing and ensuring compliance with section 508 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act.
• Assist with responding to general correspondence to the OVW.info email.
• Complete administrative tasks necessary for the operation of the Legal Counsel Division
• Assist with maintaining and managing records for the Division and with office-wide records management initiatives.
• Coordinate meetings and calendar scheduling for the Division and prepare materials for internal and external meetings.
• Assist with coordinating international meetings, scheduling conference rooms, escorting visitors, tracking visits on tracking log, and composing submission of related reports.
• Run searches and compile documents from the Grants Management System.
• Assist with compiling and tracking staff and management financial disclosure forms.
• Provide staff support for Departmental and office working groups.
• Prepare and arrange travel for Division, including obtaining related approvals and submitting vouchers.
• Support and orient new staff, as requested.
• Provide support on OVW federal advisory committee administration.
• Route memos and correspondence via IQ to Exec Sec, training/overseeing OVW staff on process.
• Assist with grant administration
• Assist in reviewing grant applications for eligibility and completeness.
• Assist in preparing funding recommendation materials.
• Observe and take notes at peer review sessions and other meetings.
• Track attorney review of solicitations, special conditions, model redbooks, and award redbooks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Excellent communication
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include: 50 State Education and Employment checks; additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records check may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship and an ability to obtain an MRPT clearance is required.

Hourly Rate: $28.79/hour (non-negotiable)

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
