Position Description:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, JSP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement front-end interfaces and user experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the applications.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical problems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, JSP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful web services.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS or React is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
