Position: Senior Software Engineer

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge and experience on Oracle Database Administration (9i, 10g, 11g & 12c,19c).
• Install, upgrade, and configure database software and database related application packages.
• Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching.
• Strong knowledge on oracle RAC. Installation, patching, upgradation and troubleshooting of RAC issues.
• Strong knowledge on Oracle Multitenant architecture
• Excellent experience in managing physical standby database, snapshot and active data guard using DGMGRL utility or manual method to switchover/failover from primary to standby and vice versa.
• Excellent Experience in planning/implementation of backup & recovery strategies using RMAN and datapump.
• Experience on space management, capacity planning and overall maintenance of the databases.
• Good experience on 19C, RAC, EXADATA.
• Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c for centralized database monitoring, administration, and performance monitoring and tuning.
• Conduct performance tuning activities to identify and resolve database performance issues, optimizing the system performance and efficiency.
• Very good experience in analyzing AWR and ASH reports to identify the root causes of slowness.
• Strong Knowledge on applying database Patches and Fixes.
• Strong Knowledge on DB upgrades.
• Good experience in scripting to automate daily/regular activities and creating monitoring
as per the day-to-day requirements.
• Knowledge on ticketing tools like JIRA, ITSM is required.
• Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Jenkins will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Oracle Cloud/Google Cloud will be an added advantage.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have:

Oracle database administrator, Oracle 19c/12c/11g, Linux, Oracle Real Application Cluster, Oracle ASM, Oracle Exadata, Performance Tuning and OCI

Good To Have:

Oracle certifications is added advantage
