We are seeking a Database Administrator consultant to join our team.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

• Database Administration (backup, restore, replication, aon, maintenance, configuration, etc)
• Server Administration | CPU, Memory and Disk management
• IIS (recycle app pool, restart service/site, certificate renewal, etc)
• Technical investigation and analysis
• Technical coordination and planning (e.g. Patching activities)
• Configure monitoring and monitor alerts from monitoring tool
• Incident, problem, request and change management (Follow best practice in delivery of all support activities such as responding to incidents, problems, service and change requests, environmental changes.)
• Ensure that the application is always available to users and render production support when required.
• Work closely with application owners in gathering requirements and delivering results
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Follow Client time and calendar, including public holidays when necessary
• Comfortable in communicating with onshore clients to gather requirements
• Stay updated with DB technology including new ones, skills, competencies

Criteria:

• 1-2 years of experience in Database Administration (MS SQL Server)
• T-SQL programing (for managing and querying data)
• Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2016, onwards)
• Basic server troubleshooting (Event logs, performance monitor, etc)
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with functional and infrastructure support teams
• Ability to demonstrate a clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities
• Expected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented
environment
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.
• Willingness to work during Philippine holidays if necessary.
• Willingness to work in McKinley Taguig twice a week.
