Your future duties and responsibilities:

Role: OpenText (Document Creation) Architect

Required skills:
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech/M.C.A or equivalent degree with 10-12 years of work experience and 3-4 years work experience as a OpenText Architect or similar role
• Implementation review with team to define design approaches using OpenText Exstream best practice
• Strong knowledge on OpenText streamserve and Exstream different versions and hands on experience mainly on Exstream 22.3
• Work experience to improve solution performance
• Hands on experience to integrate Document creation solution with other systems
• Hands on experience to use Splunk tool for issue investigation
• Knowledge on implementation of NFR like Security , scalability , availability , robustness , etc
• Work experience on OpenText version upgrade project to implement end to end
• Translating the business requirements to technical specifications that can be used by the teams to develop
• To be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, driven to produce results and demonstrates the ability to take a cross-team leadership role
• Leads in the analysis, design, and implementation planning of the technical/business solution
• Defining, prototyping and recommending the technology solutions, detailing the implementation design
• Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation including live system issue
• Work collaboratively within a team of other engineers and have strong influencing and leadership skills- Generalist technical knowledge within department and working knowledge of major system component interactions
• Be the technical evangelist for the project and provide technical leadership to project teams and stakeholders
• Captures both functional and non-functional (i.e., life cycle cost, performance, and/or flexibility, scalability, security) business requirements on how the system should work over time
• Oversee, develop, and implement holistic solution architectures for homogenous problem domains from both a business and technical perspective.
• Performs solution definition of a problem domain
• Mentor employees who want to pursue an architecture career path
• Should have excellent attention to high quality and drive it in all projects
• Should participate in engineering audits, design reviews/Code reviews and troubleshooting within and outside his/her project team
• Continuous assess of the current state of application architecture and suggest towards the target state of application architecture as a part of architectural roadmap and evaluation
Preferred skills:

• Knowledge and experience on Agile process
• Experience in Agile estimation technique
• Knowledge in Agile / Scrum methodology and planning tool like JIRA, knowledge repository tool like Confluence

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience: 10 + years
Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Mumbai
Strong knowledge on OpenText streamserve and Exstream different versions and hands-on experience mainly on Exstream 22.3
Should have minimum 2 years of Architect experience.
