Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Developer/Analyst is responsible for participating in the RPG Payroll System Evolution and Maintenance project under the responsibility of the Payroll Services Centre.
-Analysis and writing of evolution functional analysis files and maintenance of applications in RPG IV, ILE and Web on IMBi;
-Technical analysis of files:
-Estimation of efforts;
-Implementation and/or monitoring of implementation;
-Unit, functional tests, follow-up of acceptance tests;
-Monitoring, support and resolution of application problems.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-Minimum of 8 years TI, minimum of 4 years of functional analysis;
-Excellent time and priority management skills;
-Excellent teamwork skills, good leadership
-Knowledge of payroll, HR solutions or ERP Solutions;
-Knowledge of agile development methodologies;
-Knowledge of data modeling and analysis methodology;
-Excellent knowledge of application development in a WEB (Java) and AIX/Linux environment;
-Excellent verbal and written communication in French.
-Essential technical specializations:
-Java, Java EE, JPA and JVM optimization knowledge specific to IBMi;
-IBM Toolbox for Java (a considerable asset)
-IBM Rational Developer for i (a considerable asset);
-RPG with technical aspects of DDS File, Printer file, Spool file, Display file, Library list and other aspects specific to IBMi;
-IBMi / AS400 and CL / CMD;
-Spring Framework, ThymeLeaf;
-Linux, AIX and BASH scripts (an asset);
-Data area, Data queue and/or Job queue (a considerable asset).
