Position Description:

Skills Required with 7+ Years experience

Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, and SSIS. Solid understanding of data integration concepts, data mapping, and data modeling.
Expertise in SQL programming and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle SQL Server, MySQL). Ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
Experience in automating ETL processes, data validation, and system monitoring tasks.
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts,
production support and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in troubleshooting ETL job failures, system errors, and data discrepancies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica, extracting data from diverse sources, transforming it according to business rules, and loading it into target systems.
Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and design robust data integration solutions that align with business needs.
Provide exceptional production support, promptly diagnosing and resolving ETL job failures, system errors, and data discrepancies to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including ETL specifications, data mappings, and process flow diagrams.
Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, developers, and testers, to coordinate release deployments and successfully implement enhancements and bug fixes.
Identify performance issues in existing sources, targets, and mappings by analyzing data flow, evaluating transformations, and tuning accordingly for better performance.
Document unit test cases and Informatica mappings, prepare documentation for business data flow from source to target, and provide weekly status reports to the Project Manager.
Perform unit testing and integration testing of Informatica mappings and implement various performance tuning techniques.
