Position Description:

8+ years of experience in Network Design, Implementation and support ·
Responsible for creating High level Network design, Low level design, Implementation Plan, migration plan, testing plan for the new projects.
Expertise to demonstrate in-depth expertise in network design, particularly across IT infrastructure environments. Previous design experience of LAN, WAN and broad experience on a range of Firewalls (including Cisco, Fortigate, CheckPoint and Palo Alto) are critical, as is experience writing both HLD & LLD.
Expertise in managing and mentoring junior colleagues. You will be articulate and confident, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with other people, both technical and non-technical, and have strong client facing presentation skills.
Expertise to manage high levels of ambiguity when dealing with emerging requirements, able to cope when under pressure, self-motivated, and possessing a flexible and pro-active approach.
Expertise knowledge in Cisco Products (Nexus 7K,5K.2K, Cisco 6500 switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points and Cisco access switches 3750, 2960) ·
Expertise knowledge in Juniper Products ( EX Series Switches and MX Series Routers) · Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing Major Network issues (Priority Medium to Critical) · Work collaboratively with Customer L3 team and TCS internal towers to identify and fix complex issues ·
Participate in MIM (Major Incident Management) Calls and provide solution/ update on a timely manner ·
Provide appropriate guidance to L1/L2 team ·
Technical co-ordination with the OEM support in the event of any Technology assistance ·
Update Training and Support documentation
Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions.
Develop state of the art technology appropriate to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget.
Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation.
Contribute to standards and design patterns. Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements. Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required.
Provide 3rd level support and input as required to teams diagnosing reported issues, providing root cause analysis to management and the business teams.
VPN technologies, Network Encryption and Network Access Control experience.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-based routers: ASR, ISRs, Cat8Ks.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Licensing Server
Cisco IOS based switches within the Catalyst and Nexus families.
Hands-on experience with Datacenter Technologies : Cisco ACI Infra, Juniper Spine- Leaf Architecture, Arista Spine- Leaf Architecture with CVP.
Strong familiarity and subject matter expertise in relation to Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancer, Change Control, Implementation.
Strong working knowledge of networking layer 3 technologies, such as routing protocols OSPF, BGP,EIGRP, MPLS,ISIS, EVPN,
Solid working knowledge of data communication protocol suites such as TCP/IP and other general data networking knowledge (data cabling), and telecom services (T1/T3/OC3, etc.)
