We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic System Analyst to join our team. As a member of the systems analyst/product owner team you will contribute to the delivery of new product features/functionality. You will work closely with other analysts, leads/product managers, engineers, and architects to define the right solution.

Key Skills: Business System Analyst with Financial Industry experience (Asset Management and portfolio management is a preferred).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the requirements gathering of new features and/or enhancements for the financial services portal;
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions for business problems;
• Bring curiosity and a questioning mindset to work, always asking about the why? and the value? of new features/enhancements to the platform;
• Contribute to enhancing systems analysis practices across a global team;
• Mentor junior systems analysts when opportunities arise;
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Monitor documentation standards and best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ Years of Technical analysis skills, with a proven track record of delivery of complex technology projects;
• Analyst who can help with Custom SMA workflows, candidate should have knowledge on financial instruments, portfolio construction process.
• Analyst must have financial domain experience.
• Portfolio construction experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members across the organization.
• Proven experience developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems.
• Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general – Java programming experience.
• Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON, and APIs.
• Ability to read/analyze code and logs for defect/incident triage and root cause analysis.
• Ability to understand the technology and software architecture of an application at a high level.
• Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira, AgileCraft experience desirable.
• Experience with minimum viable product definition and product backlog management.
• Expert knowledge and experience in taking complex features and breaking them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to comprehend and articulate end-to-end system workflows.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate impediments appropriately.
• Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and technology.
• Comfortable having trade-off conversations with business partners.
• Experience working with QA and customer-facing resources on test scenarios.
• Experience detecting scope changes and escalation of issues.
• Effective management of project-related tasks and issues.
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast-paced, changing environment.

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (or above) in either Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics or Finance related field.

This role must be located at one of the following locations: Knoxville, TN or Raleigh, NC

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600 - $130,600.
