CGI Federal is hiring a Sr. ServiceNow Developer to work with a skilled and motivated team of professionals on a high-visibility Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) cyber security program. The Developer will support a highly skilled technical team, provide technical direction and serve as a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME). This member will also serve as the thought leader and visionary for the clients and stakeholders, communicating successfully the vision that will best serve the client, while leveraging ServiceNow. Will work to maintain a mission critical, situational web application for both planning and execution functions that enables unified logistics planning, provisioning, scheduling and cost tracking actions and mobility surrounding protective, investigative, training or administrative events.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

• Responsible for leading/supporting the technical team, providing technical direction and serving as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Identify and mitigate development and technical risks by providing research, design ideas, ServiceNow best practices, and actual contributions to the development
• Design and update Service Portal front end components
• Work with the clients to shape the technical direction, provide an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages to various technical approaches
• Perform production deployment tasks in preparation for monthly releases
• Possess expert knowledge and experience in ServiceNow

Wymagane kwalifikacje, aby odnieść sukces w tej roli:

• Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree (8+ years of experience in lieu of formal degree) and 5+ years of experience of ServiceNow development
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Great attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to high quality is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management
• Must have an eagerness to pick up technical concepts and details related to the program
• Must be able to successfully manage workload for multiple work-streams and report to management on different teams

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Prior experience in information technology, contracting or other related fields
• Experience with Agile development concepts or an interest to learn
• Experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with testing/or requirements development
• An aspiration to be a perpetual learner is highly desirable
• Experience with project coordination and administration
• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence
• Experience on complex work assignments in matrixed organizations
• Exposure to or general knowledge of CISA’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM)
• Prior experience working for/on federal client site.
• ServiceNow certifications (System Administration, Application Development, Implementation).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $209,100.00.
