Position Description:

We are a group that provides services and solutions in the Smartgrid area. The position will be to incorporate a project team that is implementing this CGI’s product in a major player in the electricity market.
We develop in-house, in a friendly and familiar environment, using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks and we also provide application management services to our customers.
We are looking for an experienced java developer with solution design and problem analysis and resolution capabilities to strengthen our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will learn about our solutions and support our customer to manage the application management team and validate it’s deliverables.
You will have the opportunity to strengthen your skills on the application development and application management areas, in a company which values quality, integrity, sharing and respect.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Support the client to document the business requirements and validate the solution design presented by the dev team;
• Support our client and the dev team to interact with the other relevant stakeholders (like other areas of the company or solution supplier), as needed in the project;
• Participate in planning activities and other project ceremonies;
• Design and execute test cases;
• Analyse system issues and support problem resolution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential Qualifications
• Up to 15 years experience in:
o BigTable/BigQuery data bases
o Python
o Java
o CI/CD

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams;
• Ability to analyse critically and focus on problem-solving;
• Commitment to quality deliveries;
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market e RGPD;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA and Confluence (valued);
• Experience in strategic projects;
• knowledge of languages (written and oral): English (required), Portuguese (valued), Spanish (valued);
• Experience in designing complex solutions.

Desired Qualifications
• Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement.

Professional Attributes
• Results-oriented with a strong track record of successful delivery;
• Degree in Computer Engineering (preferred), or equivalent.
