Integration Architect - Microsoft Solutions
Position Description:
As part of several system evolution projects for a government client in Montreal, CGI is seeking an Integration Architect who can validate integration strategies for IT systems with the enterprise data management layer, define the vision, strategy, principles, and architecture standards for all systems and technological infrastructures of our client.
The Integration Architect will act as a consultant to CGI clients and will be responsible for designing solutions in the projects to which they are assigned. The Integration Architect works closely with developers, functional analysts, and solution architects.
CGI has multiple project startup opportunities for one of its clients in Montreal and is looking for a candidate who is available immediately to participate in projects using Microsoft Azure and Power Platform.
Job Requirements:
Required: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or an equivalent field. Candidates with degrees from outside Quebec will need to provide proof of equivalency granted by the client.
Required: Have at least ten (10) years of experience in information technology, including at least eight (8) years as an Integration Architecture consultant.
Required: Have worked as an Integration Architecture consultant on at least three (3) electronic service delivery projects with an architecture utilizing common services, such as payment services.
Required: Demonstrate that the proposed candidate has participated in the completion of four (4) mandates where they have performed complete architecture work (data, processing, technologies, and security).
Required: Have worked as an Integration Architecture consultant on four (4) mandates with a minimum of 2000 person-days each, with their contribution being at least 200 person-days per mandate, involving a Microsoft Azure environment.
Required: Demonstrate that the proposed candidate has participated in two (2) mandates where they were responsible for integration architecture including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform technologies, using .NET, JavaScript, and C# for web component and plugin development.
Required: Have worked as an Integration Architecture consultant on four (4) mandates with a minimum of 4000 person-days each, with their contribution being at least 200 person-days per mandate in a service-oriented architecture involving a multi-platform environment, with client/server technologies, transactional web development, an "Object-Oriented" approach, and using an "n-tier" architecture and the following products: Microsoft IIS, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SOAP, .NET/C#, Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle, HTML, Angular, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and XML.
Asset: Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, experience in leading complex projects, and be able to communicate at various management levels.
