The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work, build, and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. We bring innovation to our clients using proven and emerging technologies, agile delivery processes and our deep expertise across the breadth of space, defence, intelligence, aerospace and maritime, all underpinned by our end-to-end cyber capability. We work collaboratively with global technology companies, cutting edge SMEs and academia to deliver the optimal solution for each client.

We are looking for talented Business Analysts to join the team and support us in creating mission critical solutions for our exciting range of projects and programmes within the Space and Defence domains.

Please note we are only accepting applications from individuals who currently hold UK Security Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Our detail-oriented business analysts dissect processes, revealing untapped opportunities for optimisation and growth for our clients, you will:

• Identify and define the business needs of clients and stakeholders and help to determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems.
• Ensure relevant standard documentation and reporting is completed, such as business cases, requirements and specifications.
• Identify the appropriate methods for stakeholder engagement to facilitate and drive the gathering of functional and non-functional requirements, as-is and to-be processes.
• Act as a conduit and translator between the business and technical teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proficient in operational activities and business strategy.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of IT & system integration.
• A track record of working within the Space or Defence sector.
• The ability to utilise best practices and provide feedback on existing processes.
• Proficient in stakeholder management activities.

All successful applicants must hold, or be eligible and willing to obtain, UK SC clearance with the view to progressing to higher level clearance if required.
